We are all becoming increasingly aware of our responsibilities to the environment and the other people we share this planet with. As a small independent online jewellery store we have taken time to think about the steps we need to take as a business to ensure we are being as environmentally friendly as possible. We would like to outline some of these steps below.
Our Suppliers
We have collected a trusted list of suppliers who have had third party verification on their production processes. Although we strive to offer brilliant prices, we have no desire to buy or sell jewellery which has involved child labour or unfair treatment/poor conditions for workers. We strive to ensure the following from suppliers we use;
All workers involved in producing our jewellery;
1) Are over 18 years old
2) Are being paid a fair wage, above the minimum wage
3) Have workplace risk assessments carried out
4) Have an acceptable pattern of working hours and breaks
5) Have access to private areas
6) Are not being forced to work against their will
